This is not just BBMak's best song, it's THEE best love song from the late 90s-early 2000s. Putting songs like Hey There Delilah, and You Belong With Me to Shame because they don't have that same immersive magic that this song has. The talent BBMak has is unrivaled, ESPECIALLY with this song. It's only guitars, drums, and vocals; no digital computer enhancement that we mostly listen to in music from this day and age. This song has withstood the test of time, and has become a classic. Listening to it just never gets old. :)

Wow, the year 2000 is 23 years ago....listening to this took me back to the year 2000 as a 14 year old

Hats off to whoever it was that presided over this version of the song: the instrumental interludes are just long enough to really immerse the listener in the sentiments of the song without the risk of redundancy. Not as easy a feat to pull off as appearances would suggest. Additionally, well done on the music video edit! Switching between color and black & white in the context of the years passed since the song’s release really adds a nostalgic kind of gravitas to it. Cheers!
